Nice to meet you!
Stacey is a New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author who’s been creating websites with wordpress since 2011.
Her first web design projects were for her couponing website (aptly named Couponing with Boys) and her reading blog, Reading Rainblog.
She started out customizing child themes on Genesis framework, but has since moved on to Divi by Elegant themes and building her own sites using either custom designs or the DiviLover child themes Milly and Girly.
When she’s not changing up her own website, she can usually be found curled up with either her laptop writing spicy books or a cat or two and her kindle reading her favorite books by other authors.
Let me tell you about myself…
Mom
First and foremost, I’m a mom. I have three boys (ages 24, 22 and 17) and they will always come first. Being a “boy mom” has been one of the best things to ever happen to me and I wouldn’t change my time with them for anything.
Computer Nerd
In my non-digital life, I work in IT. That means I spend my day resetting passwords and installing software onto other people’s computers. I’ve always been a computer geek though, so IT and web design fits me pretty well! My mom always says she doesn’t understand how I can function with 150 tabs open – ha!
Crazy Cat Lady
Yep, you read that right. I currently have two cats – BB (short for Baby Boots) is a male tuxedo born in 2017. Luna is a female black/gray tabby who was born in 2019. Both ended up with me when they were orphaned and were bottle-fed from a young age. They’re more like children than pets.
Author
Reader
Reader should probably go before author because I do much more of that than I do writing. I love almost every kind of romance, and a few of my faves are the From Blood & Ash series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas and just about anything by Melanie Harlow, Jay Crownover or SC Stephens.
Crocheting
I barely have time for it now between reading, writing and web designing, but every once in a while I pull out my current project – a blanket with all different shades of blue – and make a few squares.
My Story
How it all started…
2011
Couponing with Boys
My first experience with WordPress web design was a couponing site I started after watching way too many episodes of Extreme Couponing. I was a SAHM and my youngest had just entered kindergarten. It was my first experience with customizing wordpress using Genesis Framework.
2012
Reading Rainblog
I started a review blog just for fun because I was reading so many books and I wanted to tell everyone I knew about them. Unfortunately, I didn’t know a lot of people who read the kind of books I did – I was working for a very conservative place at the time and the words Fifty Shades of Grey were very, very taboo. This site was built using Genesis Framework.
2014 - 2017
Stacey Mosteller/Stacey Lewis
I started publishing under my married name, but when I got divorced in 2016, I changed everything over to my much-easier-to-spell/pronounce maiden name. This site was created with a bunch of different themes, including regular WordPress and Genesis Framework before finally switching over to Divi by Elegant Themes.

Designing for other people
I offered to help a friend with a site she had that had been designed by someone else who hadn’t quite finished it and she didn’t really know what to do in order to get it where she wanted it to be, and she started recommending. me to other people. That’s when Swoonworthy Designs was born. I also did my first Wix site design for DJ Krimmer.
